LEARNING METHODOLOGY

Diploma in Game Design & Development with Generative AI

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

“A game is a series of interesting choices.” – Sid Meier
Did you complete your SSLC or PUC, seeking a career in Game Designing? Or are you waiting for the results? If the answer to any of these questions is yes and you are aspiring for a career in Game Designing, you can opt for a Diploma in the Game designing course after the 10th standard or a Diploma in the Game Designing Course after the 12th. This three-year program focuses on the art, design and development of computer games, where students concentrate on the specific needs of professional game designers, developers and game artists. Learning covers the full game development cycle: pitching game ideas, writing game design documents, creating concept art, modeling, coding, testing and releasing a finished game, with Generative AI used throughout as a supervised, documented production tool.

PROGRAMME OBJECTIVE

To prepare industry-oriented game designers and developers with advanced development, technical, AI-assisted production and major-project skills.

Eligibility Criteria

Students who have passed 10th or 12th from any recognized board can apply for the Diploma in Game Design & Development with Generative AI.

Students build games in both Unity and Unreal Engine, program gameplay in C#, create their own 3D game art in Blender and Substance 3D, and work in teams using the same source control, testing and documentation practices used in studios. The final year brings these skills together in a major game project and a professional portfolio.

Scope

Game Designing & Development Career in India has emerged as a provider of many lucrative career options, and there is real scope for building a successful career. Gaming is one of the most happening industries in India and worldwide, and studios increasingly look for designers and developers who can combine core game-making skills with responsible use of AI tools.

Duration: 3 Years  | ELIGIBILITY: 10th or 12th from any recognized board

  • The game design and development field covers design, programming, art, testing and production, so students can grow into many specialised roles.
  • Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) are widely expected to shape the future of game designing.

GENERATIVE AI & RESPONSIBLE AI

Across all three years, students learn AI-assisted ideation and concept development, prompt writing, text-to-image and image-to-image workflows, AI-assisted video and motion concepts, 3D and reference generation, AI-assisted coding and debugging, procedural content ideation, game dialogue and NPC concepts, AI asset clean-up and upscaling, and workflow automation. Every AI module also covers copyright, licensing, attribution, privacy, bias and responsible-use practices.

FINAL PORTFOLIO

Students must demonstrate original production skills and documented AI-assisted workflows. The portfolio must clearly identify where AI was used and demonstrate human design, editing, technical implementation and final decision-making.
